CULT OF GUNTON

Gunton, Jon – A reclusive, itinerant, gypsy-like, indie-rock bluesman, most recently spotted in the Western Coast of the United States serving as the leader of a doomsday cult. Some trace Gunton's early years as working in a warehouse in Jersey, as a stevedore in Newfoundland, as a carnival barker in Atlanta, but the evidence is spotty. Other stories have Gunton wandering the streets of Los Angeles aimlessly and delusional, or going to Louisiana for spiritual training on a tenement farm.

He is currently a member of the rock band 'The Dirty', and can be seen preaching his message of impending doom, and glourious excess at bars, salloons, strip clubs, and other general dwellings of debauchery around the usa.
 

At times he lives in monastic, J.D. Salinger-like seclusion, occasionally spotted on the streets of San Francisco pasty and demented, harmonizing to himself. Other times he is more sociable, and has a firm handshake, a strong drink, and lots of woman troubles. He is the founder and spiritual leader of the San Francisco music collective known as The Cult Of Gunton...It is Midnight in America. The End is near!
